Over the years, we have rescued many animals.  Here are just a few of the lucky pets we have adopted out or are still seeking a home.

FuGoo is our new clinic pet.  You may see her scamper around in the back or she might come up and say hi to you at the front desk.  Is it a cat or a dog?  Some people can't decide!  She is one of a kind and has worked her way into our hearts.  Found in the Bay Minette area, FuGoo was very badly matted, dehydrated and hungry - outside, trying to fend for herself was a tough place for a front declawed cat to be.  We keep her hair trimmed, belly full and give her lots of love here at PMVC and she has really flourished into a loving cat that provides us with a lot of comic relief.

Princess is a senior dog who loves cookies and relaxing around the house.  She is extremely well behaved and would love to go to a home with a senior citizen with no other pets.  She is good around cats and people, but would prefer to be the only doggie in the house.  She is current on all her vaccines and flea and heartworm prevention.  Please let us know if you know anyone who could give her a place to call home!

Abita walked up to the clinic right after the 4th of July weekend of 2009.  She was hungry and timid, but trusted us enough to follow us into the clinic.  We fed her, bathed her, and the doctors gave her exam and vaccines.  She is current on everything including flea and heartworm prevention.  She is full of love and always ready to play.  If you know of anyone who could provide her with a home, please contact us!

UPDATE!  Abita has found a home with a wonderful family!  She gets along so well with their other dogs and loves to play and romp with them.  At first, the cat was not too sure about the new addition, but Abita's sweet nature has even won him over.

Black Jack is a fun-loving boy who needs a great home.  He gets along with cats and smaller dogs.  He is extremely affectionate and well-trained.  He is up to date on all his vaccines, heartworm and flea prevention.  If you know of someone who can provide him with a great home, please let us know!

UPDATE! Black Jack was adopted in March 2010.  The new owner reports he is really enjoying his new home and gets along well with the owner's other pets.  Black Jack has made himself right at home, taking the son's bottom bunk bed all for himself!
