We schedule surgery appointments Monday through Thursday.  Your pet should be fasted and have no food or water the night before surgery past midnight and nothing in the morning before you drop them off.  Have them checked in between 7:00-8:00 a.m.  You can call after 2:00p.m. for an update on how the surgery went.  We usually send surgery patients home the same day after 4:00p.m. so there is no overnight stay.  Feline declaw surgery requires a 1-2 night stay.  When you come to pick up your pet, you will speak with the Doctor or the Surgery Technician who will give you detailed instructions on how to take care of your pet when you go home.
